“We Pay It Forward”: CEO

Company Helps Woman With Recovery Equipment

Recently, Divine Fijians Home Care (DFHC) donated a brand-new wheelchair to a woman recovering from a mild stroke in Ovalau – an island about five hours away from Fiji’s Capital City, Suva.

Caring for the elderly and those living with chronic illnesses is not only a work most Fijians do in California, but a chance to save money and give back to loved ones in Fiji.

In a video, shared by Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, Ana Mocelutu, a retired Fiji Netball administrator, expresses her gratitude as the wheelchair will help her regain independence.

“Thank you so much for my brand-new wheelchair. It will help me greatly in my recovery,” Ana said in the video.

The Prime Minister also took a moment to express his thanks. “I wish Ana a full recovery and thank Poasa (CEO) for his kind donation,” he said.

Since its inception in 2017, DFHC has been committed to supporting caregivers and their families in Fiji, providing assistance in areas like education, finance, and business expansion.

“We love and care for our loved ones just like we do for our clients across California,” said company CEO, Poasa Koroitamana.

This act of generosity was made possible through the ongoing support of clients and stakeholders.

“We move abroad for greener pastures, and when we benefit from it, it’s important to pay it forward,” he said.

“For us, that means supporting the people back home.

“We’re pleased to know that Ana will continue her recovery with the proper equipment, and we wish her a speedy journey.

“We thank our clients, caregivers, and stakeholders for the continued support. We look forward to another year of growth.”
