Sacramento Staff Members Undergo Caregiver Orientation

The Divine Fijians Home Care’s Human Resources (HR) Department recently conducted a caregiver orientation session in Sacramento, CA, as part of it’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality and compassionate in-home care services.

The orientation program introduces new staff to the agency’s policies, procedures, safety protocols, and client-specific care plans.

It is also fulfills the annual training requirements mandated by the State of California for all agency caregivers.

As clients continue to grow, thanks to the hard work of its caregiver, the agency is rigorously equipping its team to provide the most trusted and safest in-home care services with an impact of the caring culture Fijians are known for.

The Orientation was facilitated by HR manager Jale Kunawalu, Training Officer Sikeli Cakaubalavu, and Manager Sacramento, Jim Mule. Key topics covered included infection control, emergency preparedness, HIPAA confidentiality requirements, and clients rights, often including skills checks to build confidence.

“The session ensures that caregivers are prepared to provide high-quality, safe care to our clients,” said Mr Kunawalu.

“Caregivers are the heart of everything we do.

“Orientation is not just about procedures, it’s about setting the foundation for dignity, trust, professionalism and meaningful relationships with the families we serve.”
